The E1s New Enviro 400s

The E1 is a very short route, only 3 miles long. It was operated by First London with diesel Enviros, then to Metroline with the same diesel Enviros and now to Abellio with new hybrids.

The buses are amazingly comfortable and quiet! There is an odd working that sometimes can appear, an ALX400 which I have unfortunately not been able to photograph. It is operated from Hayes garage. It has got the new Abellio moquette.

There is one weird thing. TFL say the last stop is Clifton Road, the board says Greenford Red Lion and the iBus says Greenford Broadway! There was also a bus in front, blocking the road, with the hazards on, but he got moving about 2 minutes afterwards. Also, there was very bad bunching. We were on an E1 and there were 2 only a minute in front!
